SECTOR: Marketing Services
Company
The Challenge:
A business start-up Marketing
Company wanted to be able to 'hit the ground
running' when it and it's five member team
started up in the South West.
The company required a simple
server network to enable the team to file share,
access emails easily both from the office and
home, have an immediate web presence with built
in security and content filtering to manage
employee internet usage. The team also wanted
to get on with the business of growing the
client base without having to think about its
business systems.
Project: |
Small Business Server
2003 |
3 PCs and 3 laptops
with docking stations |
Wireless broadband
facility |
Centralized business
infrastructure
(including email, fax,
print, file storage) |
Secure systems, including
backups to enable full data recovery |
| Instant and regular
ongoing monitoring of system health through
VPN
access. |
The Solution:
IT-in-a-Tin implemented a
standard small business server environment
in the Clients new offices. The organisation
was also able to continue to provide services
for its clients without any ‘down time’.
Through the system they could
now also print, fax and work on shared files.
Even though the organisation had no in-house
IT expertise, it now had immediate access to
IT-in-a-Tin's team of expert Microsoft Engineers
- both for on site support and remotely by
VPN access (IT-in-a-Tin's Preventative Maintenance
Plan).
